Job summary

WHSmith is seeking a Retail Assistant for our Adelaide Airport store. You will provide exceptional customer service, handle purchases at the POS, replenish stock, and keep displays pristine while assisting customers with product questions and recommendations.

The role supports a fast-paced travel retail environment and requires flexible weekend availability between 5am and 9pm.

Qualifications

As a Retail Assistant in our Adelaide Airport store you'll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

What being a Retail Assistant is all about:

• Providing outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Replenishing stock, merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean and well presented.
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.

What our Stores would love to see:

• A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Motivated to achieve fantastic results and standards.
• Adaptable to meet company requirements and goals.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible shift availability - 1 weekend a fortnight and between 5am and 9pm.
• Warehouse Experience would be advantageous.
