Job summary

Kerang Rural Supplies in Victoria is seeking a versatile team member for a busy retail farm supplies store. The role covers office administration, purchasing, accounts, inventory and customer service, together with day-to-day store tasks.

You will handle invoices, stock control and supplier liaison, while also helping customers, unloading deliveries and operating a forklift when required. You will work in a supportive team, with a focus on accuracy, initiative and a positive, flexible attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing office administration, purchasing, accounts and inventory.
• Handling customer service and supplier enquiries.
• Processing invoices and payments, maintaining account information.
• Advertising and store promotions via Facebook and other channels.
• Ordering stock and monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocktake.
• Serving customers in-store and assisting with quotes and sales.
• Unloading deliveries, forklift operation and stock placement as needed.
• Maintaining clean, tidy and safe workplace and general store duties.
