We are seeking a Heavy Plant / Rail Plant Operator to safely and efficiently operate and maintain heavy plant assets and rail-bound machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, productivity and reliability of equipment, while following all operating, maintenance and safe-working procedures. The role will also require travel to various work locations working an 8 day on, 6 days roster based on a 76hr fornight.

Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
