Job summary

Arise Restoration Group in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Restoration Technician to join our Melbourne team, helping clients recover properties affected by water, fire and mould.

You will attend restoration jobs, perform water extraction, drying and remediation, set up equipment, document progress and communicate with customers and project managers.

We value practical candidates with a strong work ethic, good problem-solving and the ability to learn, with IICRC WRT certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Some experience in restoration, construction, cleaning, maintenance or property services — or a genuine willingness to learn.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude with customers.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer skills and confidence using a phone and iPad.
• A current, valid driver's licence.
• The physical fitness required for hands‑on work.

Responsibilities

• Attending restoration jobs and assisting with site assessments.
• Performing water extraction, structural drying and dehumidification.
• Assisting with fire, smoke and mould remediation.
• Setting up, monitoring and operating restoration equipment.
• Supporting property repairs and restoration works.

About the Role

You’ll help restore properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mould and other unexpected damage, supporting customers as they get their homes and properties back to normal.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending restoration jobs and assisting with site assessments

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates at different stages of their careers. You might already have restoration experience, or you may have a background in construction, cleaning, maintenance or a similar hands-on role and be ready to learn something new.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
