Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast is seeking Restaurant Team Leaders to guide restaurant colleagues and create thoughtful, memorable experiences for every guest. You will be hands-on across service, leading from the floor and bringing warmth, confidence and care to interactions.

Role involves leading daily operations, coordinating service flow, and supporting colleagues across breakfast to dinner and events. RSA certified or eligible is required, and Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel leadership role.
• Passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example.
• Natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
• Good organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Must have current and ongoing working rights for Australia.

We're looking for Restaurant Team Leaders to guide our restaurant colleagues and create thoughtful, memorable experiences for every guest. You'll be hands-on across service, leading from the floor and bringing warmth, confidence and a genuine sense of care to every interaction.

At Andaz, no two days look quite the same. You might be welcoming guests to breakfast, guiding a busy dinner service, supporting a special event or helping a colleague find their rhythm. You'll keep the room flowing, the details sharp and the atmosphere inviting.

What you'll do

• Welcome guests, build genuine connections and create memorable dining experiences.
• Brief and support colleagues before and during service.
• Coordinate table allocation, reservations, service flow and guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, beverage service, cleanliness and safety.
• Coach colleagues in product knowledge, service standards and confident guest interactions.
• Respond to feedback with empathy and resolve concerns professionally.
• Work closely with Culinary, Stewarding and other hotel teams to deliver seamless service.
• Support stock control, cash handling, opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with training, performance feedback and the ongoing development of colleagues.

What we're looking for

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead by example.
• A natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
• Good organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
• A willingness to work across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
• Must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
