Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast is seeking Restaurant Team Leaders to guide restaurant colleagues and create thoughtful, memorable experiences for every guest. You will be hands-on across service, leading from the floor and bringing warmth, confidence and care to interactions.

Role involves leading daily operations, coordinating service flow, and supporting colleagues across breakfast to dinner and events. RSA certified or eligible is required, and Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel leadership role.
• Passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example.
• Natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
• Good organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Must have current and ongoing working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with confidence, care and attention to detail.
• Welcome guests and create memorable dining experiences.
• Brief and support colleagues before and during service.
• Coordinate table allocation, reservations, service flow and guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, beverage service and cleanliness.
• Coach colleagues on product knowledge and service standards.
• Respond to feedback with empathy and resolve concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with Culinary and other hotel teams to deliver seamless service.
• Assist with training and performance feedback for colleagues.
