Job summary

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the I CARE team in the Respiratory Department. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $31.25 per hour and opportunities to care for patients across age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Ideal candidates will graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, be licensed or certified, and hold current BLS, with ACLS/NRP to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Must be a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist and licensed by the State of Montana.
• Current in BLS.
• Current in NRP and ACLS (or obtain in the first six months)

Responsibilities

• Perform quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications.
• Assist with discharge planning and care plans.
• Work with the respiratory team in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment and testing procedures.

The Position:

Respiratory Therapist

Employment Status: Full time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 72-80

Compensation: $31.25 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work with and have knowledge of various respiratory equipment
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work with all age groups
• Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications
• Various testing such as Pulmonary Function Tests/Stress Tests/EKG's
