Job summary

Larvotto Resources is seeking an experienced Resource Development Geologist to join our mining team on a residential, full-time basis at Hillgrove Mine. The role splits time 70% mine geology and 30% exploration, with an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and a focus on de-risking through infill and resource expansion drilling.

The candidate will develop and maintain 3D geological models, coordinate drilling programs, and liaise with estimation and engineering teams to optimise mine planning and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or equivalent.
• Postgraduate studies in structural geology, economic geology or geostatistics are highly regarded.
• Valid manual driver's licence and safety certifications are preferred.
• Experience with underground and open-cut deposits is advantageous.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Infill diamond drill planning, budgeting and execution to support mine production schedules.
• Maintain and update 3D geological, structural, lithological and mineralisation models.
• Support grade control and resource estimation updates and reporting.
• Manage underground mapping, sampling and drilling data with QA/QC.
• Plan drill programs to test vein orientation and grade continuity.
• Prepare technical reports and target reviews for stakeholders.
