SVSM CARE PTY LTD in Cairns, Queensland is seeking experienced and unexperienced Residential Youth Support Workers to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. This contract role will see you providing essential support and guidance to young people in our residential care facility, helping them develop the skills and confidence to live independently.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to implement recreational, educational and therapeutic programs, maintain detailed case notes and contribute

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerable young people is preferred, including residential settings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Responsabilités

SVSM CARE PTY LTD is seeking experienced and unexperienced Residential Youth Support Worker to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. What we're looking for

• Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification - or enrolled / currently studying
• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable young people, ideally in a residential setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
• Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to upholding the rights and wellbeing of young people
• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
• Current Australian Company Number (ACN)
