Job summary

Brunel on the Gold Coast, Australia, is seeking an experienced Production Estimator to support a fast-paced residential builder delivering about 300 homes annually. You’ll work with established estimating systems and collaborate with construction, drafting and purchasing teams to produce accurate costings.

Key duties include reviewing plans, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing BOQs for turnkey and customised homes, while maintaining data integrity and driving cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating residential homes in high-volume production environments.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting residential plans and specifications.
• Strong cost-estimating, BOQ preparation and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production estimates for residential homes.
• Review plans, specs, engineering and inclusions.
• Perform quantity take-offs, measurements and cost calculations.
• Estimate materials, labour, trades and construction costs.
• Prepare BOQs and pricing for turnkey and customised homes.
• Identify discrepancies and cost risks; verify pricing.
• Manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with construction, drafting and purchasing teams.
• Maintain estimating records and improve processes.
• Utilise Databuild, On‑Site and Bluebeam software.
