Job summary

CableTow Care Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate Residential Care Officer to provide person-centred support for residents in our Sydney-area services. You will assist with daily living, promote independence and engage residents with community activities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care/Home & Community Care required.
• Current NSW Driver Licence required.
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to complete.
• Smartphone with rostering and workplace apps.
• Ability to meet vaccination requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision and support to residents in residential care environments.
• Support residents with daily living activities and promote independence and participation.
• Assess residents' needs, abilities, and support requirements.
• Develop, implement and review individualised care, education, training and support programs.
• Maintain confidential client records and progress notes.
• Observe residents' wellbeing and identify changes needing attention.
• Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to plan care.
• Ensure safety, privacy, dignity and rights of residents at all times.
