Job summary

Anglicare’s Mildred Symons House in Jannali is seeking a Residential Care Cook to lead kitchen operations and provide nutritious meals for residents. You will work with the Hospitality team to ensure food safety, support a positive culture, and uphold Christian values in a welcoming dining environment.

This permanent part-time role requires availability on Monday, Thursday and Friday, 08:00–16:00, at Mildred Symons House.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Workplace Health and Hygiene Qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years food industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate kitchen operations to deliver nutritious meals.
• Direct, monitor and train staff to implement HACCP and WHS policies.
• Maintain hygienic work areas, sanitis e equipment and waste procedures.
• Support a positive team culture and align with Anglicare values.
• Report to the Servery Supervisor and manage shift coverage.
