Job summary

Estia Health in Mount Clear, Ballarat, is seeking a strong leader to head the home and drive exceptional care for residents and families. You will lead a dedicated team, uphold safety, and ensure smooth operational performance.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will shape a positive workplace culture, manage budgets and revenue targets, and build community links. Five years’ management experience and a background in aged care are essential.

Qualifications

• Spent at least five years in a management role.
• Background in aged or medical care.
• Experience with multiple systems.

With heritage streetscapes, treed boulevards and historic parks, Mount Clear is Estia Health’s newest residential home.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, and as the 'head of' the home, you’ll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact—driving quality care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the smooth operation of our home.

In this role you will:

• Find the best way forward for our residents and people
• Run a tight ship - maintaining efficiency and operational safety
• Keep the lights on and making sure revenue targets are met
• Inspire your team to perform and grow
• Build ties with the community to everyone’s benefit

You’ll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management.

You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
