Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Resident Medical Officer for Emergency Medicine (ED) in a classic NSW outback town. This locum role runs 17-19 December 2026, with non in-charge shifts, and travel plus accommodation provided.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and be PGY3+ to join a multi-disciplinary team at a 98-bed hospital serving the region with oncology, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

Be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to the NSW outback.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
