Job summary

MedRecruit Limited in Broken Hill, NSW, seeks a Registrar in Emergency Medicine for locum cover from 12 to 14 November 2026. The role involves ED coverage in a multi-disciplinary team at a major regional hospital.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage during the locum period.
• In Charge shifts as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Deliver services at the NSW outback hospital with ward and ED duties.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
