Job summary

Medrecruit – Broken Hill NSW is seeking a Registrar in Emergency Medicine (ED) for a locum assignment from 20 to 24 December 2026. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering emergency care at a 98-bed hospital in the NSW outback, with proximity to a Royal Flying Doctors Base.

The role offers an hourly rate of AUD 200, with travel and accommodation included. A current AHPRA registration is required; rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
