Romsey Community Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant to join our compassionate team on a permanent basis. You will deliver varied lifestyle programs, support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing, and embrace new technology to enhance care.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering varied lifestyle programs to residents.
• Ability to learn new technology to enhance resident wellbeing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Current Police Check (within 12 months).
• Current DoFoodSafely certificate.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and be willing to drive the Residence bus.

About You:

You must be experienced in delivering varied lifestyle programs and also comfortable with learning new technology to make difference to our residents' physiological, physical and emotional wellbeing!

• Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), is a minimum requirement for this role
• Previous experience in a similar position as a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant is desirable
• Preferred applicants will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or Cert IV in Ageing and significant demonstrated Lifestyle experience
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (practical in person training)
• Hold a current drivers licence and be willing to drive the Residence bus as required
• Current Police Check (within 12 months)
• Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
• Flexibility to work dayshifts, weekends, and public holiday shifts as required
• Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
