Job summary

Uniting Pacifica Nambucca Heads is seeking a PPT Laundry Assistant to support residents with clean and well‑maintained laundry across the home. You will help handle clothing and linen with care, ensuring items are returned properly and kept tidy.

The role is permanent part‑time (48 hours per fortnight) with shifts 6:30am–2:30pm. Week 1: Thu, Fri, Sat; Week 2: Mon, Thu, Fri. Some flexibility for leave coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience (Desirable, not mandatory).
• Experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning, handling and distribution of residents' clothing and linen.
• Maintain a comfortable, welcoming and well‑maintained environment across the home.
• Support high‑quality laundry services across the home.
