Job summary

Australian Unity in Campbell Place Aged Care is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support residents by providing laundry services for personal garments and facility linens. This fixed-term, part-time role runs for eight months and follows a Wednesday to Saturday roster, offering consistent weekly hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a laundry service is highly regarded.
• Flexibility and availability to work across a seven-day roster.
• Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 (2 Doses).

Responsibilities

• Providing a range of laundry services for residents' personal laundry as well as laundry for the Aged Care Facility.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships within our team, with our customers and family members.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our residents safe.
• Providing meaningful experiences which enable our residents to thrive.
