Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a detail-oriented Resident Accounts & Maintenance Officer who will support resident account setup, billing, RAD processing, and statement distribution across our care communities, reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager.

This role blends financial accuracy with excellent customer service, involves Proda access administration, data maintenance in our financial systems, and support for month-end processes to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance is essential.
• Experience in accounts receivable or finance administration is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare, or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Process resident account setups, transfers, discharges, and billing journals.
• Administer RADs and related resident transactions.
• Generate and distribute resident statements and invoices.
• Maintain accurate resident and transactional data in financial systems.
• Process Proda user access requests and manage department forms.
• Investigate and resolve account queries while maintaining records.
• Support month-end processes and regulatory/compliance requirements.
