Job description

Step into a hands-on, high-impact role where you will transform complex data into compelling stories that drive commercial and marketing decisions. As our new Research Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, and communication of cutting‑edge research projects from initial brief right through to the final pitch. You will partner directly with sales teams, media agencies, and leading brands to uncover what the market actually needs, contributing to major thought leadership programs and in‑market campaigns. This is the perfect launchpad for an ambitious researcher looking to step up, own their projects, and make a tangible mark on the media and commercial landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial research projects end‑to‑end, taking ownership from the initial brief to the final strategic outcome.
  • Design and deliver robust quantitative research, ensuring data quality, optimal sampling, and practical application.
  • Translate raw data and analytics into clear, actionable insight narratives that solve real business problems.
  • Deliver engaging, confident presentations to internal sales teams, client partnerships, and external agencies.
  • Fuel our thought leadership and Growth Distillery programs with fresh, commercially relevant market insights.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them understand exactly what the data means and what strategic steps they should take next.
Who are you?
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in market research, insights, analytics, or consulting, and you are hungry to accelerate your career.
  • You are a natural storyteller who can successfully bridge the gap between heavy data analysis and engaging, easy‑to‑understand commercial advice.
  • You possess a strong quantitative background with hands‑on experience using analytical tools like Q Software, SPSS, Excel, or similar.
  • You are an articulate, confident presenter who genuinely enjoys getting in front of clients and stakeholders to share your findings.
  • You have an ambitious, "go-getter" mentality with the commercial awareness to spot new opportunities and proactively drive business growth.
  • You are ready to secure your next big career move this side of Christmas, gearing up to hit the ground running in the New Year.
