What's the role?

Reporting to the Branded Content Product & Strategy Director, the Senior Branded Content Product Manager will own the end-to-end product management, development, delivery and optimisation of our commercial article, video and social product portfolio, which runs across both on-platform and off-platform environments. The role will also contribute to identifying and shaping emerging product areas, such as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and the Creator Economy, and work with external technology partners to support effective post-sale content workflows.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product growth and innovation.
  • Partner with the Branded Content Product & Strategy Director to translate overall product strategy into prioritised roadmaps, initiatives, and delivery plans.
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycles, spanning from discovery and development through to launch, optimisation, and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, specifications, and supporting materials.
  • Proactively source and manage data to analyse product and commercial performance—including revenue, sell-through, and audience engagement—to identify opportunities, inform decisions, and measure success.
  • Prepare regular performance reporting and decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on branded content products, providing advice and consultation to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across Product, Sales, Editorial, Commercial Publishing, Ad Operations, Pricing, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Partnerships to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Work closely with partnership teams and external content partners to translate product requirements into effective post-sale workflows and manage their ongoing optimisation.
Who are you?
  • You have 5+ years of experience in commercial content, content product management, or digital publishing.
  • You have proven experience developing, launching, and optimising digital content products or propositions.
  • You possess strong commercial and analytical skills, enabling you to interpret product, audience, revenue, and performance data to translate insights into sound product decisions.
  • You have a strong understanding of digital content formats, distribution, monetisation, and the broader digital publishing ecosystem.
  • You bring excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, competing priorities, and dependencies.
  • You demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills, alongside proven experience working effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • You ideally have experience across multiple digital content formats and a working knowledge of emerging areas such as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI, and evolving content discovery and distribution models.
  • You are ideally familiar with CMS platforms, SEO, analytics, content‑performance measurement, and product or workflow management platforms such as AVID, Monday.com, or Jira.
