Qualifications

• Experience delivering specialised technical support for complex research activities.
• Experience independently preparing and processing research materials, samples or reagents.
• Experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting complex laboratory equipment.
• Experience applying technical judgement to resolve non‑routine laboratory issues.
• Experience advising researchers and research students on laboratory methods and equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialised technical support and exercise operational judgement to manage complex research requirements at Adelaide University.
• Support research laboratories, centres and institutes by applying advanced technical expertise, independently preparing and processing research materials, maintaining specialised equipment, resolving technical issues and contributing to laboratory standards and improvement.
