South Metropolitan Health Service is seeking a motivated Business Officer - Research to join our team. You will provide business, financial and administrative support to the SMHS research community, helping manage budgets and research funds.

You will work closely with researchers and stakeholders to prepare reports, support grant administration, and implement standard models for managing research funds.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to apply requires valid Australian work rights (visa holders).
• Experience with financial and administrative support for research activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide business, financial and administrative support to the SMHS research community.
• Manage research-related cost centres and prepare financial and performance reports.
• Assist with research budgets, grant administration and funding management.
• Support implementation of the Standard Model for managing research funds.
