University of Wollongong (UOW) invites applications for a part-time fixed-term position to provide research and administrative support for an ARC Discovery Project within Molecular Horizons. You will contribute to laboratory-based research, coordinate laboratory activities, and assist in maintaining specialist equipment.

The role requires PC2 lab experience, strong organisational skills, and expertise in bacterial culture, molecular cloning and protein purification, with effective communication

Qualifications

• Experience working in a PC2 laboratory.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Expertise in bacterial culture, molecular cloning and protein purification.
• Confidence in managing routine laboratory operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities
