Job summary

Optus is seeking a Reporting Specialist to join the Network Delivery Office, driving end-to-end program reporting frameworks and executive-level visibility.

You will design dashboards and narrative reports that consolidate cross-domain data for senior leadership, delivering weekly packs and board-level summaries with a focus on outcomes and decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program or project reporting.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale, complex programs or portfolios.
• Strong track record of producing executive-level reporting and presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end program reporting frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards across the program portfolio.
• Produce high-quality, accurate, and timely executive reports including weekly status packs, monthly portfolio reviews, steering committee materials, and board-level summaries.
• Lead the design and delivery of integrated, cross-domain program reports that provide a holistic view of program performance across multiple workstreams, business units, and disciplines.
• Work with domain leads, workstream managers, and SMEs to translate reporting requirements into a unified narrative for senior audiences.
• Tailor reports for different audience levels—from detailed operational dashboards to concise executive summaries and steering committee packs.
• Facilitate cross-domain reporting forums and governance rhythms, ensuring data cut-offs, submission timelines, and QA checks.

Are you a reporting expert who can cut through complexity and translate program data into insights that drive real decisions?We'relooking for a Reporting Specialist to join our Network Delivery Office (NDO) — a pivotal function that underpins the governance and performance visibility of Optus' most strategic network programs.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned reporting professional who can design end-to-end reporting frameworks, lead cross-domain data consolidation, and communicate confidently with senior leadership.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, andmaintainend-to-end program reporting frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards across the program portfolio.
• Produce high-quality,accurate, andtimelyexecutive reports including weekly status packs, monthly portfolio reviews, steering committee materials, and board-level summaries.
• Lead the design and delivery of integrated, cross-domain program reports thatprovidea holistic view of program performance across multiple workstreams, business units, and disciplines (e.g. technology, network, commercial, operations).
• Work closely with domain leads, workstream managers, and subject matter experts to understand unique reporting requirements and translate them into a coherent, unified narrative for senior audiences.
• Tailor reports for different audience levels - from detailed operational dashboards for delivery teams through to concise executive summaries and steering committee packs focused on outcomes, exceptions, and decisionsrequired.
• Facilitate cross-domain reporting forums and governance rhythms, ensuring consistent data cut-off points, submission timelines, and quality assurance checks.

What makes you perfect for the role?

• 5+ years of experience in program or project reporting, project controls, or a Program Management Office environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale, complex programs or portfolios.
• Strongtrack recordof producing executive-level reporting and presenting to senior leadership.
• Advancedproficiencyin data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management platforms (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
• Solid understanding of program and project management methodologies.
• Ability to synthesise large volumes of data into concise, meaningful narratives for varied audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
