Job summary

Barker Trailers Pty seeks a motivated full-time Repairs, Services & Refurbishment team member in Victoria. You will perform brake work, electrical fit-outs, and hydraulic system maintenance across our two sites, Woodend and Maryborough.

Ideal candidates have automotive experience or mechanical/auto electrical qualifications, with welding skills as an advantage. Salary negotiable based on experience and a safe, supportive work environment is offered.

Job description

Barker Trailers has been manufacturing semi-trailers for over 50 years in Victoria, and we employ approximately 130 staff across our two sites – Woodend and Maryborough. Our products are sold Australia wide, and we are innovative leaders in design and development of products for the transport sector.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated full-time team member to join our Repairs, Services & Refurbishment Departments.

Duties include:

• Brake fit outs and replacements
• Electrical fit-outs and repairs
• Hydraulic system work
• Automotive experience is preferred, with mechanical or auto electrical qualifications highly regarded.
• Basic welding/fabrication skills would be an advantage.
• Reliable, hands-on applicants with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
