Europcar is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Officer for the Canberra Airport & City team. You will greet customers, process rentals, upsell products, and uphold service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes achieving sales targets, maintaining vehicle standards, and building lasting customer relationships. Applicants should have prior sales or customer service experience and be available for rotating shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Confident using computer systems and technology.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Australian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles based on preferences and needs.
• Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly with a service-first approach.
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Detail and clean vehicles to business quality standards.
• Refuel and transport vehicles when required.
