Job summary

Europcar Bendigo is seeking a part-time Sales & Customer Service Officer to join our team. You will greet customers, process rental agreements, upsell products, and maintain vehicle quality.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, hitting sales targets while delivering exceptional service. Applicants should have sales or retail experience, strong communication skills, and a valid Australian driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail.
• Car rental experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
• Confident using computer systems and technology.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible to work on a rotating shift roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Australian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles based on their preferences and needs.
• Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, with a service-first approach.
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Detail and clean vehicles to business quality standards.
• Refuel and transport vehicles as required.
