Job summary

Sime Darby Fleet Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Rental Coordinator at our Rydalmere Branch. You will be the primary day‑to‑day contact for customer requirements and manage fleet availability, pre‑ and post‑rental procedures, and contract paperwork to ensure smooth transactions.

Key requirements include excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and solid administration or customer service experience. The role is permanent full‑time, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure superior customer service is achieved.
• Monitor fleet availability daily.
• Complete pre and post-rental procedures.
• Ensure contract paperwork is accurate.
• Inspect returned vehicles and prepare reports.
• Discuss damage/missing items with customers and resolve.
• Liaise with National Sales for major interactions.
• Perform administrative duties as required.

With a network of branches across WA, QLD, NSW & VIC Corefleet supports industry through the provision and maintenance of 'purpose built' vehicles, to safely and reliably mobilise individuals and teams operating in some of Australia's most remote locations.

We are looking to appoint a Rental Coordinator at ourRydalmere Branch who will be the primary day to day point of contact for all customer requirements.

Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager, the key responsibilities include

• Ensuring superior customer service is achieved

• Monitoring, tracking and organising fleet availability on a daily basis

• Completing all pre and post-rental procedures

• Ensuring the contract paperwork is accurately completed

• Inspecting the returned vehicle and completing the necessary reports

• Discussing damage and missing items with the customer and resolving the matter before finalising the contract

• Liaising with the National Sales team members for any major customer interactions and transactions

• Performing administration duties as required

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience in customer service or administration.

Additionally, the position also requires the following

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to learn, understand and effectively sell the products and services of the business

• High attention to detail

• Sound computer literacy skills

• License to drive manual vehicles (C class)

• Knowledge of the vehicle industry and/or rental industry would be advantageous
