Job summary

Private Energy Partners (PEP), a Quinbrook affiliate, seeks a Project Developer to lead development of renewable projects (wind, PV, BESS) and related energy tech initiatives in North Queensland. You will manage land access, permits, stakeholder relations, and external consultants to advance projects to approval and towards financial close.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field is essential.
• 3-5+ years of experience in project development or related fields.
• Project management qualifications preferred and professional registration (CPEng/RPEQ) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Progress projects from site identification through financial close.
• Coordinate external consultants and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Support environmental, land access, and approvals processes.
• Assist in procurement discussions and grid connection planning.
• Monitor budgets and development milestones; prepare IC papers.
