Enertis Applus+ is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering division in Australia. You will contribute to the delivery of renewable energy projects across the Pacific region, including wind, solar, and battery storage systems.

You will prepare designs, perform feasibility studies, and provide consultancy to clients while ensuring safety and compliance with local codes. Hybrid or remote work options are available depending on profile and location.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Min 5 years in Australian renewable energy sector.
• Engineers Australia registration.
• Proficient in ETAP, DigSilent or Homer Pro or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Experience delivering Owner's Engineer/Technical Due Diligence/Independent Engineering is a plus.

About the job

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering division in Australia. In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across the Pacific region.

What will you do?

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to ensure project success.
• Perform site inspections and provide technical support during, development, construction and operational phases.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new and existing projects.
• Provide consultancy services to clients, offering expert advice on electrical engineering aspects of renewable energy projects.
• Prepare and review plans, commissioning procedures, technical, specifications and other electrical aspects of project contracts etc.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management experience is a plus.
