Job summary

Stanbroke in Gatton, Queensland, invites a dependable Renderer to support our modern processing plant. This hands-on role focuses on by-products processing, safety, and accurate documentation, with emphasis on AQIS and industry standards.

You will monitor SCADA gauges, handle chemicals with appropriate training, and cooperate with a small team to keep plant operations running smoothly on a rotating 24-hour roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in a processing or manufacturing role, preferably in by-products or rendering.
• Chemical Handling Certification or willingness to undertake training.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and reading operational gauges.
• Strong understanding of WHS standards and lockout procedures.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to WHS protocols, including lockout procedures for water, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Safely handle and manage chemicals (Chemical Handling Certificate preferred or willingness to complete training)
• Clean machinery and processing areas, utilizing hoses and foaming techniques to AQIS standards
• Understand and apply by-products processing procedures both practically and theoretically
• Accurately complete and manage English-written documentation
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems and gauges
• Rotating 24-hour roster (three 8-hour shifts) with occasional overtime
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations
