Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a creative Social Media Manager (Video-First) to own content from concept through publication. You will produce engaging video content and distribute it across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and podcasts, while adhering to a defined content strategy and workflow.

As a contractor working remotely, you will collaborate with an Australian client from Sydney. The role emphasizes strong video editing, scriptwriting, and content repurposing to grow audience

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts and content calendars.
• Strong video editing skills with the ability to produce polished, engaging short-form and long-form content.
• Experience creating content for video-first social media platforms.
• Experience writing scripts, captions, and long-form written content.
• Understanding of social media strategies and platform best practices.
• Experience repurposing long-form content into multiple content formats.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.

Responsibilities

• Develop content ideas aligned with the brand, target audience, and marketing objectives.
• Write engaging scripts for short-form video content.
• Edit high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and create engaging highlight clips for social media.
• Schedule and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
• Write compelling captions that increase audience engagement.
• Repurpose podcast transcripts into LinkedIn articles and SEO-optimised blog content.
• Manage the end-to-end content publishing process across all social media platforms.
• Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve content performance and workflow efficiency.
• Community management: engaging with our followers, liking their comments, engaging with a list of key accounts
• Managing ManyChat work flows: Posting reels, with a lead magnet attached which relates to the video content
