Job summary

Camirand Travel is seeking motivated individuals for a Remote Travel Coordinator / Vacation Planner role. You will research, plan and book travel experiences for clients, delivering excellent customer service throughout the planning process.

This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity with a flexible schedule. Training, resources and ongoing support are provided to help you learn the business and develop your skills.

Qualifications

• 1) 18+ years old.
• 2) Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• 3) Comfortable using computers, email and online platforms.
• 4) Organized with good attention to detail.
• 5) Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• 6) Willing to complete training and continue learning about travel industry.
• 7) Sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with researching and planning vacations based on needs, preferences and budgets.
• Research destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation and other travel options.
• Prepare and present travel quotes and itinerary options.
• Book travel arrangements through approved travel suppliers and booking platforms.
• Communicate with clients before, during, and after the booking process.
• Maintain accurate client and reservation information.
• Process and monitor payments, deadlines, and final payment dates.
• Stay informed about supplier promotions, destination updates, and travel requirements.
• Participate in available training and professional development.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Market and grow your independent travel business.
