Job summary

Dispensed is a telehealth platform enabling patients to access alternative medicine services across Australia, NZ and the UK. We are seeking AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioners to consult remotely with full clinical autonomy, managing telehealth assessments and prescriptions as appropriate.

This is an independent contractor role, flexible hours, full time or part time, with work from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, and the chance to transform lives through innovative care.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia through Ahpra.
• Experience prescribing alternative treatments, or interest in doing so.
• Understanding of Australian regulatory framework for these treatments, or willingness to learn.
• Comfort working with telehealth and digital platforms.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and the support team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth consultations to assess patient suitability for alternative treatment options.
• Prescribe where clinically appropriate, based on your assessment.
• Manage follow-up consultations and prescription renewals.
• Coordinate care with the Clinical Nursing Manager and support team.
• Educate patients on treatment, including safe use and expectations.
• Keep accurate clinical records in line with Australian law and standards.
