Acova is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software systems across on-site Bayswater, remote, and hybrid setups. You will collaborate with clients and developers to deliver high-quality solutions, participate in the full software lifecycle, and help ensure secure, efficient deployments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with software development methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative software systems and features to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with clients and internal development teams to ensure effective delivery of technical solutions.
• Maintain and modify existing software systems for enhanced functionality and performance.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment including identification and mitigation of risks that may affect the performance and security.
• Collecting and analysing operational metrics
• Perform code reviews and address technical issues in a timely manner.
• Researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating system program needs
• Managing testing and automation of software and application deployments
• Encryption and decryption
