Job summary

The Doing Co. is seeking a genuinely creative Social Media VA who lives and breathes short-form video. You’ll turn raw founder footage into reels, build static creatives, and contribute ideas beyond briefs.

This remote role lets you own content output across reels, emails, and campaigns while collaborating directly with the founder to shape growth and maintain brand consistency. You'll manage the content calendar, respect brand compliance, and experiment with AI tools to optimize performance,

Qualifications

• 4-5 years experience working remotely as a social media/creative VA for US, AU or EU clients.
• Portfolio of short-form videos edited personally.
• Experienced in editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok with hooks and retention.
• Experience creating static creative for ecommerce brands.
• Some hands-on email marketing experience.
• Strong English and communication skills, written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience using AI tools in your creative process.

Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Short-Form Content: Edit raw founder footage into reels for Instagram and TikTok; create hooks in first 3 seconds; extract snippets from longer videos; produce variations of top-performing content.
• Graphics & Static Creative: Design Canva assets for social and paid campaigns; maintain brand accuracy; research competitors for test-worthy ideas.
• Email Marketing Support: Build and send email campaigns for drops and promotions; review and improve existing flows; implement agreed improvements.
• Creative Direction & Collaboration: Proactively contribute ideas; manage content calendar; keep assets organized in shared system; adhere to brand compliance.
