Job summary

Olivotto & Young Consulting Engineers, a specialist structural consultancy, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of residential, commercial, and specialized projects. This full-time remote role requires coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients, producing detailed calculations, drawings, and reports, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will ensure code compliance, manage documentation, and contribute to value engineering and project delivery while working

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural/Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Strong foundation in structural engineering principles and practice.
Experience applying structural analysis to building and specialty structures.
Experience leading projects from concept through construction and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and design guidelines.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, and specialized structures.
Perform detailed calculations and review structural drawings and CAD models.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Oversee project documentation, and support construction phase services.
Contribute to design optimization, value engineering, and client communications.
