Job summary
Engeny, part of Egis Group, is an environmental and multidisciplinary engineering consultancy operating across Australia. We seek a Senior Structural Designer with 10+ years of experience to deliver complex concrete and steel projects for resources, government, and water infrastructure in the QLD region.
You will lead documentation, design development, and 3D modelling, while mentoring junior staff and supporting the CAD team in a collaborative, flexible Brisbane-based environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience as a Structural Designer.
- Experience delivering concrete and steel projects for resources and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with local standards, Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Document structural engineering designs for concrete and steel projects across industrial, mining, and water infrastructure.
- Support lifecycle stages across mining/resources, roads, drainage, dams, and water treatment.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical support to the CAD team.
- Develop engineering designs and solutions, including detailing and 3D modelling.
- Produce CAD documentation and 3D models.
