Job summary

Janison is seeking a Senior Developer to deliver high-quality technology solutions in a 6+ month fixed-term role, working remotely from Australia. You will write production-ready code, support platform reliability during large-scale testing events and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will contribute to platform modernisation using .NET Framework 4.8, modern .NET and Azure-hosted services, while mentoring team members and ensuring code quality and security are

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and .NET, including .NET Framework 4.8 and modern .NET.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server/Azure SQL and best practices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with AngularJS, Razor and related front-end frameworks.
• Experience diagnosing production issues in high-concurrency environments.
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools across the lifecycle.
• Excellent collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills; eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technology solutions in a fixed-term engagement.
• Write production-ready, testable code aligned with standards and accessibility.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to the team.
• Ensure security/privacy considerations for student data; flag PII concerns.
• Modernisation work across .NET Framework 4.8, modern .NET and Azure services.
• Collaborate with SCRUM team for on-time sprint delivery.
• Diagnose production issues and contribute to runbooks and post-incident reviews.
• Provide proactive and reactive updates to stakeholders; participate in workshops.
