Job summary

The Lucas Group is seeking a Senior Broadacre Commercial Agronomist to lead national market development for a well-established Australian plant nutrition business. You will work with corporate and family growers to design and commercialise season-long crop programmes, with significant autonomy and direct access to the CEO.

Remote role with national travel. You will establish trials, manage accounts, and partner with distributors to grow revenue and margins across the Australian broadacre sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in agribusiness sales, business development or commercial agronomy.
• Strong network with growers and agronomists.
• Ability to convert opportunities into revenue and drive market growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage national relationships with broadacre growers.
• Identify and convert new commercial opportunities.
• Develop season-long crop programmes combining seed treatment, nutrition and bioproducts.
• Establish trials and demonstrations and commercialise results.
• Work with distribution partners and directly own accounts.
