Job summary

Ledger Logic Bookkeeping is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/Registered BAS Agent to provide high-quality bookkeeping and compliance services for clients. The role starts at approximately 8 hours per week with a clear pathway to increase hours over 12–24 months.

The ideal candidate is a current Registered BAS Agent with at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, strong Xero knowledge, and solid GST/payroll expertise.

Qualifications

• Current Registered BAS Agent registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Xero; MYOB/QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Excellent understanding of GST, payroll and Australian bookkeeping compliance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement.
• Payroll processing and compliance.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Month-end reporting.
• Software implementation and optimisation.
• Working directly with clients to deliver exceptional service.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
