Job summary

Checkly is looking for a Sales Engineer to empower developers and agents to deliver reliable software from PR to post-mortem. Learn the monitoring space, guide customers through evaluations, and support ongoing adoption while collaborating with Product and Engineering.

You will work in an async, international team with transparent pay, stock options, and flexible vacation. This role emphasizes strong English communication, technical depth, and autonomous collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Background in a technical, customer-adjacent role.
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js coding skills.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate customer-facing work (Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Autonomous, self-motivated in async environments.
• Located in ET±1 time zones.

Responsibilities

• Learn Checkly and the Monitoring space deeply to help customers solve reliability problems.
• Support prospects through technical evaluations with our senior CSE and sales team.
• Assist existing customers with technical questions, implementations, and adoption.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal playbooks as you learn what works.
• Speak with customers directly and share learnings with Product and Engineering.
