Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a specialized Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our technical team. This remote role focuses on turbomachinery integrity, reliability, and performance within Oil & Gas operations, enabling you to contribute expert support from anywhere.

You will specify, install, maintain, and troubleshoot turbines, compressors, pumps, and related equipment, develop maintenance strategies, perform root cause analyses, review vendor docs, and collaborate across maintenance and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience specifically focused on rotating equipment in Oil & Gas or process industries.
• Experience with centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, and pumps.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques and predictive maintenance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the specification, selection, and procurement of rotating equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including condition monitoring and preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and approve vendor technical documentation, drawings, and proposals.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and project teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices for rotating machinery.
