Job summary

Bethanie is seeking a Manager - Refurbishment Projects to lead a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, restoration and property improvement initiatives across our Retirement Villages. This hands-on role covers from scope to handover, including engaging contractors and ensuring delivery to Bethanie standards.

You will oversee Independent Living Unit restorations, minor capital works and upgrades, with travel to sites as required and a flexible arrangement including working from home.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering refurbishment, restoration or property improvement projects.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Sound financial, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Manage refurbishment, restoration and make-good projects across Bethanie's Retirement Living portfolio.
• Scope, procure and oversee contractors, consultants and suppliers to deliver quality outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, variations and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate minor capital works, repairs, upgrades and improvement projects across sites.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to Bethanie standards and legislation.
• Build positive relationships with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
