Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Project Surveyor to join our field team on long-term remote road construction and civil projects across NSW, SA and NT. You will report to the Project Manager and work in remote locations that are hot, dry and dusty, delivering precise surveys and signed-off as-builts.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, converting designs for rover/machine control, providing timely field data and concise reports, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• A relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher (required);
• Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);
• Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable);
• Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable);
• The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity;
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and mark out projects
• Convert designs for survey rover and machine control
• Work with machine control to optimise precision and timing
• Perform periodic surveys for conformance reporting
• Undertake as-built surveys for project sign off and quantity verification
• Provide timely surveys for end of month reporting
• Produce clear and concise technical reports
• Project administration (as required)
