Job summary

Avance Clinical is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead complex clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. The role offers full remote flexibility within Australia, with strong emphasis on staff leadership, client communication and regulatory compliance.

You will manage PMs and PAs, oversee study plans, budget, vendor relationships, and ensure trials adhere to ICH-GCP and SOPs while delivering on time and within scope. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent field.
• Proven experience as Project Director in CRO/pharma with staff management experience.
• Strong communications with clients and stakeholders and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Project Managers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Oversee study plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management.
• Manage line reports, performance development, and recruitment when needed.
• Oversee contracted services, vendor management, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
