Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a General Postdoctoral Researcher (Masters/PhDs) for an AI training program. This fully remote, flexible contract role invites experts to tackle cross-disciplinary problems that push AI reasoning and model training capabilities.

You will design and evaluate complex problems and contribute to advancing the next generation of AI systems. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in a STEM field, have a strong research track record, and can communicate clearly while working

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in a STEM field from a top-tier university.
Proven research track record with publications or complex projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication and meticulous attention to detail.
Able to work independently and asynchronously with no day-to-day oversight.
Based in the US, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand (eligible regions).

Responsibilities

Design and solve advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance across STEM and technical fields.
Apply research expertise to construct complex problem statements that challenge and improve AI reasoning and inference.
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for academic rigor, logical soundness, and technical accuracy.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance model performance.
Ensure clarity, depth, and intellectual integrity across deliverables.
Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
