Job summary

MedRecruit Limited seeks an experienced WFM/Payroll specialist to manage payroll accuracy and compliance in a remote Australia-wide role. You will interpret awards and regulatory requirements, perform reconciliations, and transform large datasets while supporting HRIS implementations and go-live activities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll/WFM, strong data analysis skills, and can work independently in a remote environment while delivering high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least three years of payroll and workforce management experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply awards, EBAs and legislative requirements with accuracy and confidence
• Perform detailed reconciliations, compliance reviews and exception analysis to protect payroll integrity
• Analyse and transform large payroll datasets, identifying anomalies, trends and root causes
• Contribute to HRIS system implementations, including design, requirements and system audits
• Partner with clients during go-live activities, optimisation of their systems and issue resolution
• Produce clear documentation, reporting and control frameworks aligned to best practice
• Advise stakeholders on WFM & Payroll risk, compliance and process improvements
• Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement across payroll operations and system capability
